Mr. Krueger
This is my 27th year of teaching middle school, the last 23 of which have been exclusively in mathematics. I started teaching in Brooklyn, New York, at a school called IS 296, for three years. I taught in a 6th-grade, self-contained classroom. I moved back to San Diego and have been teaching in the Cajon Valley Union School District ever since.
I have two daughters and a stepson. My stepson was actually in two of my classes as a student. He graduated from Granite Hills High School and was a four-year varsity letterman in water polo and swim. He is currently working in construction and is very successful in using math daily in his industry.
My youngest daughter graduated from West Hills High School and was a four-year varsity letterman in water polo and swim. She is currently in college studying to be a nurse.
My eldest daughter graduated from El Capitan High School and completed four years in the Special Education Transition Program at Granite Hills. She is currently in a program call InDayProgram in El Cajon.
My wife and I have been married for 22 years and she also works for Cajon Valley USD.
I was a local Heartland swimmer most of my life growing up, then a collegiate swimmer in Louisiana on a full-ride scholarship. I am a Hall Of Fame member for swimming and water polo at El Capitan High School, for which I was a four-year letterman in both sports. I am now a retired water polo and swim coach of 20 years from West Hills High School and am still actively refereeing for water polo and swim all over San Diego County.
My family is my pride and joy. We enjoy fishing and traveling as much as we can together.
Welcome to Hillsdale Middle School!
Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas.
