Hello, my name is Leo Acosta and I am the 8th-grade counselor at Los Coches Creek Middle School. I have been working at Los Coches Creek for the past 13 years. This is my 19th year as a counselor and I enjoy helping all students during their adolescent years. I was raised in Los Angeles & I attended Long Beach City College.  I also attended California State University Dominguez Hills where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Spanish. I have been happily married for 23 years to my wife Laura & we have 5 awesome children - Sophia, Dalia, Mia, Lincoln, & Julia. In my spare time, I enjoy bike riding, watching my son play golf, & spending time with my family.

Hi my name is Hope Lettow and this is my fourth year as a counselor at LCC. I am a native Californian, born and raised in East County. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community that I love so much. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University, in Joplin, Missouri. I received my Masters in Education and my PPS credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. Some of my interests include reading, spending time with my nieces and nephews, taking my dog to the beach, and traveling. I am thrilled to be part of CVUSD, which I truly believe is the best place to live, work, play, and raise a family. My name is Ms. Roque, and I am the 6th grade counselor this year at Los Coches Creek Middle School. While this is my second year as a school counselor, I am not new to the field of education. I’ve been a teacher for over a decade with most of my time spent in the middle grades. I’ve had the opportunity to work with all grade levels from K-12, but middle school holds a special place in my heart, which is why I am thrilled to be here at LCC! I was raised in San Diego County, and I feel fortunate to have grown up in such a beautiful area. In my spare time, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, friends, and my beloved dog, Bella. I am so excited for this school year, and I look forward to working with all of the amazing 6th graders here at LCC.

Hello Everyone! My name is Darsi Gonzales, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the Intervention school counselor here at Los Coches Creek Middle School. It’s truly an honor to be part of such an incredible school community! This will be my first year working as a school counselor. I’m new to beautiful San Diego County, having recently moved here from the Inland Empire. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at CSU San Bernardino and completed my Master’s in Education, along with my PPS credential, at the University of Massachusetts. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors,working out, traveling, diving into DIY projects or crafts, foodie at heart and enjoying time with my family and friends. I’m always on the lookout for new adventures!
