My name is Jessica Martinez.  I am a 5th grade teacher at Meridian Elementary School.  I have been a teacher for 24 years, teaching a variety of grade levels and holding many positions on campus. Meridian has always been my home and supported me throughout my career as a teacher. I learned to love teaching from my mom and dad, who are both retired teachers, as well as my aunt and uncle.  In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, camping, hiking, reading a good book, and cooking. I enjoy teaching everyday because it is never the same.  We support children and families in life decisions and guide them on the way to adulthood.  Teaching is my passion!
